Yoga Teacher, Video Producer and Online Content Designer, Artist

Elaine Carter is a film producer, director, and conscious media creator who currently serves as Director of Media and Senior Creative Project Producer for The Shift Network. With a rich blend of street smarts and devotional Grace, she has served in the field of conscious media for a decade, bringing her gifts for storytelling, relationship-building, production savvy, and creative content verve to thousands of high-end content projects for organizations including Gaia and My Yoga Online. Along the way, she’s elevated media departments, fueled business growth and audience development, built out prolific portfolios, and amplified the contributions of the talented and dedicated people serving behind the scenes. A full-spectrum lover of life, Elaine explores cosmic consciousness and the movements of creative energy through many facets of experience: yoga teacher, dancer, DJ, writer, and filmmaker — allowing her love of beauty and connection to inform her work and become a part of the unfolding of our shared awakening.

Nick Mattos

Faculty Recruitment and Engagement Manager for The Shift Network

Nick Mattos serves as faculty recruitment and engagement manager for The Shift Network. His engagement with the world of holistic health and spirituality has spanned two decades, both as a student, and as a teacher of disciplines including meditation, magick, nutrition, and joyful movement.

Nick has served as a writer and journalist for numerous publications across the U.S. and UK, ranging from international publications of record like The Guardian to photocopied zines he hand-stapled at his kitchen table. His essays have been included in the curriculum of high schools and colleges in the United States, and he has spoken before college audiences about the intersections of spirituality, politics, alienation, and liberation. 

A graduate of The Evergreen State College, Nick currently resides in Oakland, California, where he serves as a volunteer crisis counselor and activist for universal healthcare and other investments in the health, safety, and joy of our communities.
